Camping with us

2024 Bookings: Our diary for next season will be open AT 9AM ON 13TH JANUARY, follow us on social media for any updates

Here at Beacon farm, we have created a campsite dedicated to families. Allowing people to holiday in a relaxed, countryside environment that won’t break the bank. Based a few miles just outside of Whitby our campsite is an ideal base to explore the Yorkshire coast.

Unlike some other campsites, we don’t like to jam pack tents into our field. This ensures there is plenty of room to pitch your tent and for children to play. We work on the premise that if the children are happy then generally the parents are too!

We like to keep things simple. Our camping pitches aren’t marked out, you get to choose where to pitch. This means you can worry more about what’s going on the barbecue than whether your tent is going to fit! We have a few of our FAQ’s below but if you need any more information then feel free to get in touch.

Camping Season: April – September (Weather depending)

If you would like the full camping experience of toasting marshmallows over a fire but don’t want the hassle of bringing along your own fire pit then we also hire firepits out. Each night of fire pit hire includes a bag of logs, kindling and some firelighters. Fire pits can be arranged whilst on site.

Prices are as follows:
  • 1 night – £10
  • 2 nights – £17
